Lucas Walker wants to be a marshall but the evil Wells-Fargo corporation, led by Curly Bill Vader, kills young Lucas’ family because their property was in the way of their railroad expansion.

Lucas, with nowhere to go, rides to Missouri where he meets Master Po who shows him the way of the Tao and together, they head to the Los Eisley Cantina where they hire a wagon, driven by Dutch smuggler Hans Szolo and his dancing bear, Joey, to take them to Kansas where Lucas will continue training under Master K’en.

In Oklahoma, they find out that the Clanton and McLaurie families are running a cattle smuggling operation between Oklahoma and Kansas. On their way to send a telegram to Master K’en, they encounter Curly Bill Vader who kills Master Po leaving Lucas to make his way to Kansas and Master K’en, where he will have to rescue Josephine Marcus, on his own.
